Bloomberg Brand Campaign: Inventing Possibility

When Bloomberg News digital subscriptions business launched 2 years ago, Bloomberg was still very much associated with markets and financial news. We wanted to shake that image to show the breadth of content appealing to a broader audience. We worked with the great team at Work Order to create the first-ever brand campaign for Bloomberg.com & Bloomberg digital subscriptions. We built this spot for streaming and OTT and cut down for social platforms.

Bloomberg Product Showcase

Where “Inventing Possibility” focused on the power of Bloomberg as a news organization, we next wanted to showcase all of the ways Bloomberg offers that content to subscribers, from the website, to app, to podcasts, to Quicktake, through a digital product showcase. This was an in-house animation with all conceptualization and design work from concept to completion.

Bloomberg Wealth

For the launch of Bloomberg Wealth, we wanted to create a fun, relatable new content vertical providing practical financial advice for the average consumer. Stuff like how much to save in a year, what’s going on with the housing market, and what you need to retire. The playful visuals reflect this light hearted approach, as we tried to break from pure text and data, and make the content more approachable and quantifiable.

Bloomberg Quicktake

For the relaunch and rebranding of Bloomberg Quicktake, we wanted to create a modern news channel built for on demand streaming. The format would be more casual, less finance focused, going deep on lesser covered topics in live news and original shows on business, technology, politics, and culture. We worked with Work Order to create a graphics and video package for the brand and developed assets to promote the launch on media channels.
